The Resolution Revolution

Resolution [rez-uh-loo-shun] n

a. the act of resolving or determining upon an action or course of action, method, procedure, etc.

b. the mental state or quality of being resolved or resolute; firmness of purpose

Well, I have decided to make a bit of a deviation from what I typically do here. Most of you have probably seen Courageous. Ah-mazing, I know! If you haven't seen it, please do so immediately. As in now....just sayin'. But I digress. After I saw the movie, I found this amazing little study (The Resolution for Women) that they came out with in conjunction it....and I bought it. I read a section or two before getting sidetracked by all the junk going down in my life, and it's been awhile. So here we are. I am picking up again, and I have made a decision. I want to blog my way through the book. Document my journey through what is being called "The Resolution Revolution". Maybe I won't post about every single section, or maybe I will....kinda depends on what God lays on my heart. That being said, I guess we will just see what God has in mind. 

This is a resolve to realign my self-centered priorities and choose to live in a way that glorifies God and fulfills who He created me to be. A resolve to call out the woman that God intends for me to be. The woman that those I love and that love me deserve. The woman that my future husband, and children will need. A woman that is strong and courageous.

That being said, I hope that you ladies (sorry gents) will join me. Make your own resolution, join the revolution. 

Get excited! I know that I am. 'Cause I know that God is going to work through this journey, and I can't wait!
