#becoming

"Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure." {Philippians 2:12-14, ESV}

And in the stillness, He whispers:

Be.
Own your faith, not someone else's.
Dare to follow Me with reckless abandon,
to be consumed, overcome, and totally filled with My love.
Surrender your hopes, dreams and desires.
Let Me be your eyes, your light.
Come.

This has become my heart's cry. Becoming all that He created me to be, to chase after His very heart with reckless abandon. To allow Him to be my eyes...and to die daily to my own vain ambitions.

Lord, give me a heart like yours.
Lead me. Guide me.
No matter what it takes,
even though none go with me,
still, I will follow.
No turning back, No turning back.
